  • Jan Fabre : Choreographer, theatre maker, visual artist and beetle ambassador
  • Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker : Ballet dancer, choreographer. Founder of the company Rosas and the international school for contemporary dance P.A.R.T.S.
  • Panamarenko : Visionary artist, experimenter of genius and prolific inventor. Considered as one of the most important artist of the current European scene.
  • Carl De Keyzer : Belgian photographer with a worldwide reputations publishing regularly in magazines and newspapers such as Rolling Stone, Life Magazine, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, El Pais, Le Monde. Nominee and member of the MAGNUM photo agency.
  • Paul Van Nevel : Choirmaster, musicologist, and cultural historian. Authority on medieval polyphonic music. Founder and leader of the Huelgas Ensemble.
  • Bob Van Reeth : The first Flemish State Architect !
  • Arne Sierens : Playwright who's works were awarded in Europe and Canada (Mask Award) and translated and performed in France, Spain, Portugal, UK, Germany, Canada, Scandinavia.
  • Roger Raveel : As a child he already knew : he would become an artist "to make reality enter art". "Sir" Raveel developed the perfect marriage between abstract and figurative.
  • Raoul Servais : This revolutionary film animator was always envied by his Hollywood colleagues for his artistic freedom and obstinacy. Founding father of the animation school at the Gent Academy.
  • Rik Poot : A master in stone and marble but unsurpassed in his bronze statues of women and horses. Notorious for his opinion on modern art and ditto artists.
