The "BUD" ticker is back.

Belgian-based Brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev is again using the "BUD" ticker symbol for trading on the New York Stock Exchange. "BUD" was pulled fom the exchange after the sale of Anheuser-Busche to InBev. Due to growing interest from U.S. investors the company is now listed in New York as well.
The famous "BUD" ticker symbol for trading on the New York Stock exchange was taken off the exchange last year. This came after the take over of Anheuser-Busche Inc to the Belgian brewer InBev.
The deal was clinched for 52 billion US dollars.  It created Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewer.

"BUD" was taken off the New York Stock Exchange. 

Anheuser-Busch InBev will maintain their primary listing in Belgium, the headquarters of the company. 

CEO Carlos Brito (photo) however told Associated Press in an an interview that growing interest from U.S. investors prompted the company to list itself in the U.S. as well.
