Anderlecht win as Standard drop points

After Saturday night's football action the Brussels club stands alone on top of the first division. Standard dropped points losing to Westerlo.

Standard surprisingly lost its match against Westerlo 2 - 0 on Saturday night. For the Liège eleven this was the first defeat of the season.

Dekelver scored twice for Westerlo.

Standard are now third - three points adrift of Anderlecht.

Anderlecht fared better beating Charleroi at home 2 - 0. The result takes Anderlecht to the top of league division one.

Biglia and Lukaku made the goals.

Sint-Truiden lost away to Mouscron 2 - 1. For the Limburg eleven this was the fourth defeat in a row.

Odoi took Sint-Truiden into an early lead, but Van Ghijseghem equalised minutes later.

Mouscron remained the most dangerous side and deservedly won this fixture.

This was Mouscron's first home win of the season. Jaycee took the Hainaut eleven into the lead thanks to a penalty.

Cercle Brugge managed a draw against Lokeren. Fans were treated to a messy first half without any goal action. Cercle got off to a good start in the second half thanks to Vossen, but Tsarevic was first to take Lokeren into the lead.

Bozic, who was substituted into the match, equalised in extra time.

Zulte Waregem beat Germinal Beerschot 4 - 0 securing a third win in a row. Chevalier and Roelandts took Zulte Waregem 2 - 0 ahead before half time. Makiese scored in the second half for the home eleven, while Chevalier also made a second goal.

KV Kortrijk won the West Flemish derby against Roeselare. Bentek took Kortrijk 1 - 0 ahead in the first half. Vandenbussche sealed Roeselare's fate scoring an own goal.

Roeselare seem a hopeless last six points behind Mouscron.
