Standard beaten by no-hoper

Roeselare travelled to Standard de Liège on Saturday night to deliver the biggest upset of the weekend's sports action.

Roeselare that are languishing at the bottom of the first division inflicted a stunning defeat on the reigning champions beating them 1 - 0.

The Roeselare goal came from Dequevy shortly after half-time.

Club Brugge 1 KV Mechelen 1

Club Brugge that is second in the league drew 1 - 1 against KV Mechelen.

Destorme first took Mechelen into the lead, while Kouemaha later equalised for Club.

Following 18 games Club Brugge are now 7 points adrift of Anderlecht that beat Westerlo on Friday night.
 

Germinal 0 Charleroi 0

Germinal failed to impress against Charleroi. Charleroi spent most of the first half on the Germinal half of the pitch, but failed to pose any danger.

Germinal got off to a better start after half-time, but neither team was able to create many interesting chances. The match ended in a goalless draw.
 

Sint-Truiden 0 Kortrijk 2

All season goalie Simon Mignolet has been one of the key players at Sint-Truiden, but on Saturday night he got off to a porr start. He made a bad job of deflecting a ball in the third minute and Benkö was able top score for Kortrijk.

Sint-Truiden went in search of an equaliser, but Kortrijk goalie Verbauwhede made this impossible. A long goal from Benteke took the score to 2 - 0. Kortrijk are now fifth in the league.
 

Mouscron 0 Lokeren 5

Janczyck took Lokeren into an early lead against Mouscron. Later in the match he repeated the feat with a header and towards half-time he made it a hat trick.

Mouscron were powerless. Carevic even made it 4 - 0 and a header from Doll put 5 - 0 on the scoreboard.
