Thalys cancels Paris services

The high speed train service Thalys is cancelling three of its daily journeys between Brussels and Paris. Thalys trains have incurred damage as a result of the recent freezing conditions.

Seven of the service's twenty-six trains are damaged and in need of urgent repair.

The cancellations are for the entire holiday period.

Eurostar that operates services between Brussels and Paris and London is operating a full timetable following its recent difficulties with the snow. Today six out of the seven planned services between Brussels and London will run. By tomorrow, Monday, the service should be back to normal.
