Last year 9000 Flemish people trade their car in for a free bus/tram pass from the Flemish tranposrt company De Lijn. The so-called Dina pass has been in existence for eigth years.

The Flemish transportation company De Lijn is offering a free transportation pass to one family member if the family does away with one of their cars. For families that get rid of their only car, the entire family gets a free pass.

Every year between 9000 and 10,000 people trade their car for a free pass.
