KV Kortrijk trounced Germinal Beerschot 3 - 0. Kortrijk played a strong first half making all three goals before half time. Ibou scored after twenty minutes. Benteke made it 2 - 0 within minutes, while De Beule took Kortijk into a commanding lead just before half-time.

Zulte Waregem 2 Sint-Truiden 0

Zulte Waregem beat Sint-Truiden 2 - 0 taking Zulte to 4th place in the standings. The two teams, both in the top 6 in the standings, seemed equally balanced.

Sint-Truiden nearly took the lead before half-time. In the second half too it was Sint-Truiden that was the better team, but Zulte Waregem were first to score thanks to Dhaene.
