Anderlecht nine points clear at the top

It was a good weekend for Anderlecht that strengthened its lead at the top of the first division. Anderlecht are now nine points clear of Club Brugge that only managed a draw against Sint-Truiden in Sunday's soccer action.

Anderlecht beat Roeselare away 1 - 2.

Rukavytsya was first to score for Roeselare. Mazuch equalised, while it was Suarez who took the visitors into the lead.

Roeselare are now bottom of the first division and heading for relegation.

Elsewhere in the first division Charleroi drew 0 - 0 against Zulte Waregem.

Charleroi are thirteenth, Zulte Waregem sixth.
 

Club Brugge only managed a draw at Sint-Truiden: the score 1 - 1. Sidibe was first to score for the home eleven in the 48th minute. Sonck equalised thanks to a penalty ten minutes later.

The match started a half an hour late due to the bad weather.

Club Brugge are second in the league, Sint-Truiden are fifth.
