Wins for Anderlecht and Club Brugge

It was a good night for Anderlecht and Club Brugge that both won their matches. KV Kortrijk (photo) and Sint-Truiden too fared well securing a place in the play-offs that will settle the race for the championship title.

Anderlecht beat Racing Genk at home 2 – 0. Anderlecht remain on top of the first division twelve points ahead of nearest rival Club Brugge.

Club Brugge won 1-0 at home against Roeselare. Club stay in second place with 54 points from 27 matches. Roeselare are now in last place with only 17 points.

KV Kortrijk beat Lokeren 3 – 1 at home securing their place in the play-offs. Kortrijk are fourth in the league. Lokeren are second from bottom.

Sint-Truiden won 2 – 0 at home against Germinal Beerschot. They too are now assured of a place in the play-offs. Sint-Truiden are now fifth, just behind Kortrijk.

Zulte Waregem drew at home against Standard de Liège. Zulte are now sixth in league, Standard are seventh.

AA Gent beat Charleroi 2 – 1 at home. AA Gent are third, Charleroi 13th.

Cercle Brugge finally lost 2 – 1 away at Zulte Waregem. Cercle are ninth in the league, Zulte Waregem are sixth.
