Anderlecht extend lead

Anderlecht beat AA Gent 4 - 2 on Sunday night.

Van Damme scored after barely 2 minutes taking the home eleven into the lead. Suarez made it 2 - 0, while Chatelle was responsible for the third Anderlecht goal.

Coulibaly got the Gent crowd to cheer minutes later making the score 3 - 1. Grondin put Gent back into the match in the 70th minute, but Gillet settled the Buffaloes' fate with a fourth Anderlecht goal minutes later.

Anderlecht that are already sure of the championship title have 52 points and lead AA Gent that are second and Club Brugge that are third.

In the B Group of Play Off section II Racing Genk beat Germinal Beerschot 2 - 0. Camus scored with a penalty, while the second goal came from Yeboah.

Charleroi travelled to Standard de Liège to win 1 - 0 thanks to a goal from Cordaro.

In Play Off II B Genk are first followed by Standard. Germinal Beerschot are third and Charleroi bottom.
