Club Brugge back in second place

Club Brugge on Sunday demolished Sint-Truiden 2 - 0 in their match in the Play Off I Group.

Kouemaha was first to score taking Club Brugge into the lead on the half hour. Akpala made it 2 - 0 in injury time.

Club Brugge have now overtaken AA Gent in the standings and are in second place behind leaders Anderlecht that were already assured of the Belgian championship title.

Genk and Westerlo on Sunday night drew the first leg of the final in the Play Off II Group 2 - 2. Jakovenko was first to score for the visitors. Liliu took Westerlo into a 2 - 0 lead, but then Racing Genk came back into the match.

De Bruyne opened the Genk scoring, while Yeboah equalised in injury time.

The return match is on Friday.
