Charleroi fans haven't had a lot to cheer about this season. In the league, Charleroi are fighting relegation. Fans hoping that the Cup could revive the club, were in for a big disappointment.
In Charleroi, second-division Waasland-Beveren (in yellow) came behind, but scored twice to stun the home team. They sealed victory in the final minutes with a goal by 31-year-old Guy Veldeman. The Zebra's, as the Charleroi players are nicknamed, were not able to turn the tables in the few minutes they had left in the match.
In other action on Tuesday, KV Kortrijk almost stumbled against third-division Virton. It was 1-all after 90 minutes, with KV Kortrijk needing extra time to decide the match (2-1).
The 14 other Cup matches are scheduled for Wednesday evening.
