Diamond transport to resume

The administrators at Brink's Belgium have reached an accord with Brink's Diamond & Jewelry Service. The agreement that was reached on Monday means that the diamonds that have been stuck at Brink’s storage facility at Zaventem Airport, near Brussels can now be transported to their final destinations.

Brink's Diamond & Jewelry Service will now be able to resume the transportation of valuable goods such as diamonds and precious metals from and to Zaventem Airport.

The Brussels Commercial Court had revoked Brink's Diamond & Jewelry's licence.

The company is a subsidiary of Brink’s Belgium.

Brink's Belgium filed for Bankruptcy after its workers took industrial action against plans to change their conditions of employment.

Brink’s Belgium is currently in administration.
