400 De Lijn staff will be working especially on New Year's Eve to man the special buses and trams for revellers. Travellers can purchase a special ticket for one of these services at a cost of 2.5 euros. Season ticket holders will travel free of charge and ordinary tickets can also be used. In some places travel on New Year's Eve will even be free of charge.
