Soccer championship still undecided

In Saturday night's action Racing Genk won away at AA Gent, while Standard too pocketed three valuable points playing at home against reigning champions Anderlecht.

Genk could have bagged the championship title if it won away and Standard lost, but the soccer gods are keeping us all on the edge of our seat.

Tuesday's match between Genk and Standard should settle the matter. A draw will be enough for Genk to take the title.

Genk first went 2 - 0 ahead against AA Gent, but the Buffaloes then managed to equalise. It was only in the closing stages of the match that Ogunjimi scored Genk's winning goal.

After the match it emerged that Gent and its coach, Francky Dury, are parting company.

Standard beat Anderlecht 2 - 1, while Club Brugge travelled to Lokeren to win 1 - 0.
Standard's win means it is assured of a ticket for the Champions League.
