Hard Rock Café in Brussels soon

Hard Rock Café intends to open an outlet in the European capital.

The brusselnieuws website reports that the American chain will launch a Hard Rock Café in Brussels in April next year.

The outlet in Brussels will be the first Hard Rock Café in Belgium since the café in Antwerp closed in 1997.

The café in Brussels is being designed by the British architects Fuse that also planned the outlet in Florence Italy. In Brussels work is underway in a 16th century property that enjoys UNESCO protection. The daily L'Echo believes that the Hard Rock Café will be situated in the Hoedenmakersstraat.

The chain is famous for its American fare and rock and roll memorabilia. There are currently 172 outlets in 51 countries. The chain is owned by the Seminole Indians of Florida.
