3,500 flock to Brussels Airport for a new job

Yesterday, the Job Day Fair at Brussels Airport in Zaventem welcomed some 3,500 people who were looking for a (new) job at the airport. Some 30 airport companies or businesses located at the airport or nearby took part, offering some 500 vacancies altogether.

The airport is looking for new talent in the three different Belgian regions. Figures show that 50 percent of those visiting the fair were from Flanders, with 40 percent coming from Brussels and 10 percent from Wallonia.

The Flemish employers' organisation Voka also presented its Airport Academy, which will give special training for specific airport jobs.
