Kobe Desramault is the chef at the ‘In de Wulf’ restaurant in the West Flemish village of Dranouter. He was given the award for “his cuisine without complexes and his use of local dishes and produce.”
Belgium’s best chef remains Peter Goossens from ‘Hof van Cleve’ in Kruishoutem (East Flanders). For the tenth year running he was given the highest score of any chef in our country: 19.5 out of 20.
This year’s three “Young Top Chefs” are Benoit Meusy from L’Imperatif in Maisières (Hainaut), Matthieu Beudaert from Table d’Amis in Kortrijk (West Flanders) and Alexandre Dionisio from Chez Alexandre in Brussels.
