Why is Belgium a good place to do business?

The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (BLCC) and the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium have announced this year's Golden Bridge Awards. The awards recognise outstanding achievements in exporting between Britain and Belgium.

Primus Laundry of Kortrijk received the award Best Exporter - BELUX to Britain. The company is internationally renowned for its innovative, industrial laundry machines and supplies hotels, hospitals, laundries, coin-shops and nursing homes.

SuperGroup got the award for Best Exporter - Britain to BELUX. SuperGroup is a company that has developed a strong international presence through working with key local partners, using a mixture of distributors, agents and master franchisees. SuperGroup markets the Superdry brand in 22 stores in Belgium, two in Luxembourg and six in the Netherlands.

The Best Newcomer award went to Netshield Ltd, which specialises in the delivery of managed ICT and business continuity services.

In the SME category, the award was handed over to Solutions-2. Solutions-2 is a consultancy company with an expertise in statistics and business problem solving.

The awards are an initiative of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain in collaboration with the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium, the British Embassy to Belgium, the Belgian Embassy to the UK, and UK Trade and Investment.
