Brussels : more frequent buses and trams

The Brussels local transport company MIVB is increasing the frequency of 23 of its bus services and 8 of its tram services. The morning and evening rush hours, when there are more frequent services, are being extended. More services will also operate during the weekends and at off-peak times.

The hours in which more frequent rush hour services will operate are being extended by between 15 and 45 minutes. In the mornings this means a more frequent service on tram lines 3, 4, 7, 19 , 25 and bus lines 13, 14, 29, 38, 84 and 95. In the evenings there will be more buses on lines 46, 47, 48 and 59.

The number of metro services remains unchanged.

Off-peak there will be more buses on routes 45, 59, 60, 64, 80, 84, 87 and 89 and on tram line 19.

On Saturday afternoon there will be more frequent services on the following lines: 3, 4, 13, 14, 19, 29, 38, 42, 48, 49, 50, 55, 59, 61, 63, 71, 81, 82, 89 and 95. Bus 45 will also operate on Sundays and on holidays resulting in an improved connection between Evere and Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe.

Bus 53 will call at Nos Pilifs and the Military Hospital also at the weekend and on holidays. The frequency of bus 71 is being increased on Sunday afternoons.
