Standard to play Glentoran or KR Reykjavík

The draw has been made for the second preliminary round of next season’s Europa League. The one Belgian team that will compete in the competition’s second preliminary round Standard de Liège will take the winner of the first preliminary round between the Icelandic side KR Reykjavik and the Belfast Club Glentoran.

Glentoran finished fourth in the IFA premiership, the top division for teams playing in Northern Ireland (although Derry City plays in the Irish Republic’s League of Ireland).

Standard will play the first leg of its tie away from home on 18 July with the return leg being played in Liège a week later on 25 July.
