Ghent puts all exhibition info on one website

What can you see in Ghent? Until now that hasn't been an easy question to answer, but the nine big museums in the city are putting all the important information about exhibitions during the forthcoming cultural season on one single website: www.theghentmuseums.be.

Leaflets that were produced annually will now be replaced by a six-monthly email.

Since 2004 museums in Ghent have been issuing an annual brochure to allow people and groups visiting the East Flemish capital to plan their visit. The groups will now receive a six-monthly email. What is on show in Ghent during the autumn and winter months will be the subject of an email dispatched in July, while for spring and summer exhibitions you will be able to consult an email dispatched at the end of the year.

People wishing to receive the email, should send their email address to stam@gent.be.

An overview of the exhibition in Ghent's nine museums can also be consulted on theghentmuseums.be where information is also available in Dutch and French. For information about the Ghent card, ongoing exhibitions and day trips to Ghent, please go to visitgent.be, where you will find information in five languages.
