It is Leuven University College's Department of Economic Advanced Education that is introducing the course that mirrors an existing Dutch language course.
The university college says that it hopes the course will help to attract more international students to this seat of learning. It argues that the course should also encourage Flemish students and lecturers to adopt a stronger European and world citizenship.
The programme will be entirely based on the Dutch language marketing bachelor's course, but efforts in communication aimed at crossing cultural barriers will get special attention. International students will also be encouraged to integrate more fully in Dutch language culture.
So far 35 students from 24 different countries have registered.
