Deputy Premier gives traditional Maori greeting

Flemish Deputy Premier Geert Bourgeois on Saturday attended a ceremony to commemorate the Maori soldiers from New Zealand who perished in the Great War. Mr Bourgeois also greeted visitors in the traditional Maori fashion by rubbing noses.

After the event the Deputy Prime Minister tweeted a picture of the ceremony in honour of the Maori soldiers who died at Mesen during the First World War.
