In addition to the top job Mr Bourgeois will get International Affairs and Tourism.
Flemish nationalists Liesbeth Homans and Ben Weyts are tipped as new Flemish ministers. Ms Homans is in the running for the Housing and Poverty portfolio. She will also serve as Flemish Interior Minister and head up City Policy, Integration, Equal Opportunities as well as Social Economy. Mr Weyts gets the Mobility, Public Works, Vlaamse Rand and Animal Welfare portfolios. Philippe Muyters is expected to stay on and becomes the new Work, Economy and Sports Minister with powers that include Innovation and Science Policy.
The Christian democrats' Hilde Crevits is tipped as the new Education Minister. Jo Vandeurzen stays at Healthcare, while Joke Schauvliege moves to Environment and Planning.
Patrick Dewael and Els Ampe or Ann Brusseel are the names circulating for liberal ministries. The liberals are on course to take Budget, Finance and Energy as well as Culture, Youth Policy and Media. Ms Ampe or Ms Brusseel, who both represent Brussels, could become Minister for Brussels too.
