Kirsten Flipkens meets Britain's Heather Watson in tennis final

Belgium's tennis diva Kirsten Flipkens has reached the final at the WTA tournament in Monterrey, Mexico. It's Flipkens' first final since 's Hertogenbosch in 2013. If she wants to clinch her second WTA crown, she has to move past Britain's Heather Watson.

Flipkens, the world's number 73 on the WTA rankings, ousted Anett Kontaveit of Estonia (WTA-91) in the semis. Flipkens won in straight sets, although the first was a close one: 7-6 (8/6) and 6-4.

Watson is the world's number 84. She downed Caroline Wozniacki earlier this week, but shows her respect for Flipkens: "It won't be easy. We met a couple of times before and she is very experienced. I will need my best tennis", the 23-year-old told reporters. Flipkens won both of their previous encounters.
