Mini-Europa could become... smaller

Even the Mini-Europa attraction park in Brussels is not safe in the case of a Brexit. The park has just invested in English maquettes but... the British landmarks would have to be removed if a majority of the Brits would decide to leave the EU.

CEO Thierry Meeùs told De Standaard "we are taking it with a smile and some British humour. With the referendum looming, our modeling people reproduced the debate using characters from the Leave and the Remain camp."

This being said, the outcome of the referendum may also impact on the mini-park. If Britain votes "out", the British maquettes will have to go. "Personally, I think it would be a shame to remove them. They're beautiful and it cost quite some money to restore them. The London landmarks are among the most photographed items."
