Anderlecht’s opened the scoring on 26 minutes through Nicolae Stanciu. An Alert Boeckx prevented KV Kortrijk drawing level 10 minutes later through Saadi. The first half ended 1-0 in Sporting Anderlecht’s favour.
The second half started sluggishly with both teams making silly mistakes. Anderlecht’s second goal came on 56 minutes through Teodorczyk. Stanciu when from hero to zero 3 minutes later when he was given his second yellow card of the match. Anderlecht were down to 10 men with just over half an hour left.

However, it was not to be and an Obradovic goal on 83 minutes was more than enough to seal victory for the visitors. The result sees Sporting Anderlecht move up to 3rd place with 31 points from 17 games.
However, Sporting Charleroi could leap-frog over them if they beat Standard de Liège on Sunday evening. KV Kortrijk are 10th with 24 points.
