Missing Belgian tourist turns up unharmed

A Belgian tourist that went missing in Australia has turned up safe and well. The Australian have police reported that the 24-year-old woman who had been missing for over a day has turned up unharmed. Police in South Australia had believed that the young Belgian woman had been kidnapped and had even broadcast an appeal not to harm her.

South Australia Police has now announced via its Twitter account that the Belgian has been found in Murray Bridge, around 75 km from the state capital Adelaide.

It was in Murray Bridge that the woman was last seen before her disappearance. There are as yet no further details surrounding the circumstance of the woman’s disappearance or how she was found.
