Free Wi-Fi in Belgium’s biggest stations
Since Monday a long-standing wish of thousands of rail passengers has become reality. 19 of the country’s biggest railway stations have been equipped with free Wi-Fi. The Belgian rail company NMBS says that a further 8 stations are due to be equipped in the coming months.

- Antwerp-Berchem and Antwerp-Central
- Bruges
- Brussels Airport-Zaventem, Brussels-Central, Brussels Luxemburg, Brussels- Schuman, Brussels-South
- Charleroi-South
- Denderleeuw
- Gembloux
- Halle
- Hasselt
- Leuven
- Liège-Guillemins
- Namur
- Ottignies
- Sint-Niklaas
- Vilvoorde

60% of train passengers use services that leave from 1 of the above 27 stations. In order to benefit from the free Wi-Fi service rail passengers will need to log in to the Free Wifi-NmbsSncb network. In order to do that they will first need a MyNMBS account that can be created on the rail company’s website.
