Ghent dragon breathes fire at Ghent Festival

For the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the Ghent Festival, the bronze dragon situated on the rooftop of the belfry and overlooking the medieval city, is spewing fire each evening. 

The Ghent Festival had its first edition in 1834, with this year's edition kicking off yesterday evening, marking the start of 10 days of numerous events in the East Flemish capital. In other action yesterday, two men were seen on the Sint-Michielsbrug fighting a lightning fight.
