Rain on the way later this week?

Could rain and storms be on the way later this week? The prolonged dry spell has left our gardens crying out for water. Farmers too are hoping for some rain after what have been weeks of drought.  Today will be for the most part sunny. However, in the afternoon and evening there is a chance of rain and storms in some areas. Tomorrow it will be less warm with a chance of scattered showers and localised storms.

Today’s top temperatures will be 25°C or 26°C in coastal areas and in the Ardennes with temperatures elsewhere reaching between 28°C and 31°C. This evening and tonight there could be localized rain and/or storms in some area.

The outlook for tomorrow is for cooler temperatures with more cloud and rain or showers. Temperatures will reach 22°C in coastal areas on the High Fens and 27°C or 28°C in the Kempen area in Antwerp and Limburg province.

On Wednesday it will be mainly dry, but with cloud in some areas. Maximum temperatures will be between 21°C and 26°C.

It will get warmer again on Thursday with temperatures reaching as high as 30°C in some areas. It will be sunny during the day. However, rain and storms will enter the country from the west during the course of the night.

On Friday and during the weekend, the weather will become more changeable with an increased chance of rain. Maximum temperatures in Brussels should be around 25°C.
