Facebook to discuss nudity ban with Flemish tourism office

Social media network Facebook has invited representatives of the Flemish tourism board to a meeting after Toerisme Vlaanderen sent Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg an open letter in connection with Facebook's ban on nudity.

The ban affected the tourism board's posts of Flemish masters including Peter Paul Rubens.

Facebook is willing to discuss its policies on posts that have meant that paintings displaying too much nudity have been banned.  Recently even Rubens's “Descent from the Cross” got the thumbs down from the social media giant.  The reason?  Christ was depicted wearing merely a loin cloth.
