Belgian staff disrupt Ryanair schedule for second day in a row

The strike of Ryanair cabin staff based in three European countries including Belgium is into its second day.  Half of all Ryanair flights at Brussels Airport have been cancelled.  This figure rises to 60% at Brussels South Airport aka Charleroi Airport.

The strike was widely reported in advance so few passengers were in for a nasty surprise.

Nathalie Pierard of Brussels Airport: “All passengers were informed of cancellations.  So, we are not expecting any stranded Ryanair passengers at the airport".

Today's strike affects flights with departure or arrival in Belgium, Portugal and Spain.  On Wednesday Italian Ryanair workers also joined the strike.  Ryanair cabin staff are unhappy with pay and working conditions.
