Anderlecht bag the 3 points "but we can do better"

In football, Anderlecht beat Excelsion Mouscron 2-0 to post their 4th consecutive victory of the season. Anderlecht travel to champions Club Brugge next weekend in the first classic of the season.

Despite not being at their best, Anderlecht keep on bagging the three points. This time, it was bottom-of-the-table Excelsior Mouscron that were gobbled up (2-0). Mouscron played a poor first half with Anderlecht playmaker and 'Man of the Match', in-form Adrien Trébel, scoring from a free kick, 1-0.

After the break, Mouscron had two big chances as Anderlecht were in the doldrums. But Anderlecht survived and scored 2-0 via Landry Dimata, who returned to the Belgian league coming from Wolfsburg. Anderlecht lost defender Ognjen Vranjes with a red card and will miss the Bosnian next week in Bruges.

"We are not where we should be", said Anderlecht coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck. "I am not unhappy with our performances so far, but we could have stood further. Anyway, we have four games against stronger teams coming up  now, so that will learn us more." (Club Brugge, Royal Antwerp FC, KRC Genk and Standard, red.) Anderlecht will almost certainly miss Vranjes on that occasion.
