Club Brugge remain top, shock defeat for Standard at Eupen.

In the 6th day of play in the Belgian First Division there was victory for Club Brugge and draws for Sporting Anderlecht and KRC Genk. This mean that there is no change in the top 3. Meanwhile, the was an important 3-0 win for AA Gent away at Cercle Brugge. The Buffaloes move up to 4th place.

Standard de Liège threw away their chances of taking points from their trip to KAS Eupen. Despite leading 1-0 until 5 minutes before the end of the second half, a goal by Eupen’s Toyokawa and an own goal by Standard’s Luyindama made for a final score of 2-1 in Eupen’s favour.
