11/10/18 - Belgian federal prosecutors have given a news conference with regard to the football match-fixing and money-laundering operation launched on Wednesday. 44 house searches were carried at homes and offices of various people all connected to the beautiful game in Belgium. Documents, luxury items and cash have been seized. 14 house searches were carried out across Europe at the request of the Belgian authorities. 29 people were detained for questioning in Belgium as well as 4 abroad.
