It's the hottest 13 October on record!

A temperature of 25.6°C was recorded at the Met Office in Ukkel (Brussels) today.  It's a new record and improves the last record of 24.8°C set only seven years ago.

Traditional fine weather leisure destinations like the coast (archive photo) and the Kempen District attracted large numbers of day-trippers today.

Sunday too is expected to be unseasonably hot with highs between 19 and 26°C.  It will remain dry with high altitude cloud moving in later.  Unsettled weather is heading our way Sunday night with showers on Monday morning.  Following days will remain dry and party cloudy.
