"Cold War" wins best movie award at Ghent Film Fest

The 45th edition of Film Fest Gent, the annual Ghent Film Festival, came to a close on Friday evening. "Cold War" of the British-Polish film director Pawel Pawlikowski won the Grand Prix for Best Movie. 

The British musician Stuart A. Staples of the band Thindersticks received the Georges Delerue Prize for Best Music. 

Cold War will be in the Belgian cinemas as from 31 October. The movie is about a love affair in Poland disrupted by politics at the time of the Soviet regime, "a tale of impossible love in impossible times", the Facebook page announces.  Watch the official trailer below.
