300 million euro investment in Flemish public transport

The Flemish public transport company De Lijn is to invest 300 million euro in new busses, trams and infrastructure. De Lijn will use some of the cash to purchase 200 hybrid busses and replace old vehicles on Antwerp’s tram network. The public transport company also intends to increase the number of busses and trams on its busiest roots.
