Minister practically breaks down in tears

24/1/19 - Philippe De Backer, the Belgian telecoms minister, practically broke down in tears today when he announced he wouldn't be standing as the Flemish liberal candidate in Antwerp in the general election.  Mr De Backer favours a career change and a return to his first loves, science and business.
