Three arrests after body is discovered in holiday chalet

Three suspects have been held after the body of a 33-year-old man was found in Forzée near Rochefort (Namur) on Wednesday.  The man from Genk had met a violent death.

All three suspects hail from Limburg Province and are in their twenties.  There is speculation that the suspects may have rented a local chalet.

The suspects will appear before magistrates in Tongeren on Friday, when a decision will be taken on whether they have to remain in custody.  Given the location of the violent death Namur public prosecutors are also involved in the case.
