Yet another Antwerp port worker held for drug trafficking

Police have arrested a fourth port worker accused of bringing in drugs via the Port of Antwerp.  Earlier in the week three other port workers were detained as a result of two different investigations.  Several luxury cars were seized too.

The latest arrest was made north of the border in the Netherlands.  He is suspected of involvement in a criminal organisation and the import of drugs.  Belgium has requested the suspect's extradition.  Once in Belgium the suspect will appear before an examining magistrate.  The latest arrest is linked to one of the dossiers in which there have already been arrests earlier in the week.
