No shortage of sun during the Easter weekend

The Royal Metrological Institute (KMI) forecasts fine sunny weather for the long Easter weekend with temperatures expected to top 20°C.  On Good Friday it will remain fine and dry in Flanders. However, there will be cloud in and some localized showers in areas of Wallonia near to the French border. Maximum temperatures will reach 23°C.    

The rest of the Easter weekend will bring with it fine sunny weather. On Saturday temperatures with reach 18°C in coastal areas and in the Ardennes while central areas will enjoy top temperatures of 23°C. Easter Sunday will be sunny throughout with top temperatures of between 16°C and 21°C depending on where you are. Easter Monday will be warmer still with top temperatures of between 18°C and 23°C.  

Beyond the weekend KMI forecasts temperatures reaching as high as 22°C on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, there will be some cloud on Tuesday and the possibility of showers and/or thunder storms on Wednesday.  

Thursday will see temperatures reach between 19°C and 20°C with the possibility of showers localized showers in the afternoon. Thunder storms can’t be ruled out.
