KRC Genk maintain 4-point lead with four games to go

There was no shortage of action in the Belgian First Division with a full programme of Play-off I and Play-off II games being played. In Play-off I there were wins for the top three clubs. On Friday evening Antwerp enjoyed a 2-1 home win against Standard de Liège. The league leaders KRC Genk enjoyed a 0-1 win away at AA Gent on Saturday evening.

Genk retain their 4-point lead at the top, while AA Gent have taken just 1 point from their first 6 Play-off I games. On Sunday, Club Brugge’s 1-0 home win against RSC Anderlecht mean that with four games left to play, they trail KRC Genk by four points.
