Red Lions thrash Wales, meet Germany in semis

The Belgian national hockey team have crushed Wales in their last group match at the European Championships, taking it 6-0 in Antwerp. The Red Lions look ready for their semi-final clash against Germany, tomorrow.

Belgium won their three games against Spain, England and Wales, taking their tally to 13 goals scored while conceding none.

They will now meet Germany, who took second place in the other group. Germany beat Scotland and Ireland, but lost to the Netherlands. If Belgium would move past Germany in the semi-finals, they may bump into the Netherlands in the final. However, first things first: "We are ready for a big test and Germany will be just that", said player Arthur Van Doren.
