Fears for telecom attack: “Sack Proximus chief forthwith”

Telecom unions have welcomed the news that Proximus CEO Dominique Leroy is moving to Dutch rival KPN with a demand for her immediate dismissal because they fear her switch will lead to a telecom attack on Belgium.

The unions have written to the Proximus chairman making their feelings clear: “Dominique Leroy must leave the company forthwith. We are requesting her immediate departure to prevent her consulting strategic information.”

Union fears are clear: Dominique Leroy will leave Proximus in a pile of rubble ahead of launching a telecom attack on Belgium.  “The announcement of her resignation confirms our doubts about the transformation plan she launched at the start of the year” says Christian trades unionists.
