A frustrating evening for Club Brugge

Club Brugge drew 0-0 against Galatasaray in their first Champions League group game yesterday. Club Brugge can't be happy with the result though, after a good performance.

Club Brugge are in a group with Paris SG and Real Madrid and knew that their home game against Galatasaray of Turkey was a good opportunity to bag some points.

Club Brugge played a good match and had the better chances, but failed to score. The Belgian runners-up of last season also claimed a penalty kick late in the match for a hands ball, but the refereeing team didn't give it. Bruges goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, the former Liverpool player, had to make one excellent save in the first half to prevent the Turks from climbing ahead and posted yet another clean sheet.

In the other match, Paris SG beat Real Madrid 3-0. Club Brugge now travel to Madrid for their next game.
