Privacy watchdog concerned about finger prints on teens' ID cards

Soon everyone over the age of 12 will have to give their finger print in order to get an ID card. The measure is already being trialled in 25 municipalities. The figure print will be scanned and added to the information contained in the ID card’s chip. However, the privacy watchdog has expressed criticism about the measure as it applies to teenagers that are still minors.
