Belgian ambassador’s wife hits South Korean shop assistants
The Belgian ambassador to South Korea has apologised for the blows that his wife inflicted on two shop assistants in Seoul. Pictures of the incident have been broadcast on South Korean TV.
In a shop the ambassador’s wife was erroneously accused of theft. In her defence she decided to hit a shop assistant violently in the face. The Belgian embassy in Seoul says the woman is cooperating fully with the police investigation.
